Bob Farrell, Technical Director, leads the discovery, development, and integration of innovative software solutions that meet Federal, Military, and Intelligence customer needs. As a veteran of the USAF and a Federal Civil Servant for the Air Force Research Laboratory, Bob accumulated 40 years of experience in military operations. He has expertise in a wide range of technical domains, including systems engineering; requirements management; object-oriented design; web-based, net-centric, service-oriented architectures; big data; data science; machine learning; relational theory; databasing; cloud computing; atmospheric physics; weather and space weather forecasting; numerical weather modeling; and physics-based modeling of weather’s impact to human activity. Bob has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Meteorology from Penn State University.
