Brianna Maze is a Principal Engineer leading the machine learning and computer vision efforts at NextGen. She has extensive experience applying many flavors of machine learning to challenging problems across civilian, DoD, and Intelligence markets. She is currently the PI for the MARS project, operationalizing and enhancing the machine learning platform (MLP) for DoD use-cases. She has led a variety of ML efforts, including predictive maintenance, modulation recognition, soil moisture mapping, solar event prediction, and vehicle detection and tracking. She has provided demos, customer training, and invited talks to a variety of audiences and has received high accolades for those efforts. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from West Virginia University, and has completed her PhD coursework with a machine learning emphasis.
