NextGen Awarded EWPMT Follow-On Contract

Aberdeen, Md., (11/29/2016) – NextGen Federal Systems supported Raytheon’s Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool at Cyber Quest, a U.S. Army event that informs cybersecurity requirements and priorities, building on two years of support to the Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) program. EWPMT, an Army program of record since 2014, focuses on the ability to see and understand events in the electromagnetic spectrum.

“This opportunity brings with it a great deal of growth,” said Jay Reddy, founder. “At NextGen, we are focused and driven to provide our customers with the best possible solutions for their needs.”

NextGen worked in partnership with Raytheon for Cyber Quest and previously, Cyber Blitz, to work with the customer to understand operational requirements and set up scenarios to use the software effectively. Raytheon recently awarded NextGen a follow-on subcontract to continue the development of EWPMT.

EWPMT is a phased approach to developing and implementing the system, broken into four Capability Drops. The first Capability Drop was fielded in early 2016. Capability Drop Two kicked off in the third quarter 2016, and NextGen continues their subcontract services to Raytheon.
